Rex is about to fight the next beast, but finds it's unnecessary. Instead, he lets his fists fold back into his arms and continues walking downwards, following the path downwards. He takes the presence of more tendrils as a sign that he's getting closer and continues on, eventually finding another service elevator.

"Uhh...thanks," he says to the tendrils holding open the doors as he walks through them.
