I know what you mean. I have... I'm not sure how to describe it. It's like there are a lot of things just floating around in my head, ideas, terms, things I learned, all good but just scattered and disconnected and useless. It is VERY annoying indeed.

And yet, somehow, I seem to know what I'm doing when I build something. I don't need to remember much, I just... know.
