Chocobo Hunting

Is what Ruby was thinking as he waited for his two partners to show up close to the old theater. After all, it was just one bird. How bad could it be?

"I'll explain later. For now, she can help us with the stupid bird."

Ruby slowly made his way into the shop, Nana right next to him. "Nana, move in and use Scary Face when you see the yellow bird."

Nana yipped in agreement before moving in.

"Hey, if she can help, I'm all for it." Jr. followed right behind them, guns still at the ready. "Just watch out."

It appears to be some sort of gardening store, going by the decorative statues of varying sizes, stone lanterns, and miscellaneous fountains. A shelf bearing plaster gnomes has shattered on the floor.

It's pretty dark, lit only by the light of novelty firefly-themed outdoor lamps.

"So it wants to play it this way, huh. Let's even the odds a bit. PoPo!" Ruby pulled out another Pokeball and tossed it so that another Pokemon (http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/8/88/Popo.png) appears. "Use sunny day!"

Almost as a side he warned Jr. before light filled the area, "You might want to cover your eyes for a second."

Jr. was too busy inspecting the new creature to react fast enough. "Huh? Why's thaAAAAAARGH!"

Too late, he throws his arms up to shield his eyes. Looks like finding the bird is up to Ruby, at least for the moment.

One of the statues springs up, shrieking at the sudden brightness.

"Nana, takedown! PoPo, keep that light going!"

Nothing was going to stop Ruby now, he was in his element. No one and nothing messes with his hat and gets away with it. He grabbed a nearby hose to use as a rope, waiting for the opportunity to use it on the stupid bird.
