[A long pause. She's forgotten, but luckily she remembers fairly quickly.]

Oh, right! I managed to get to the hotel by hopping here, so that's where I am right now. But if I have to hop all the way to the hospital, I don't know when I'll get there...it's pretty slow going!

*A little while later, here he is, a white-haired somewhat sullen teenage kid. Geez, she looks pale. And what's with that getup?*

[She hops in place, arms outstretched, still holding the phone in one of her hands.]

So really, don't mind if he suddenly jerks away and backs up until he's back up against a wall.*

W-w-well, I'm sure there's some perfectly logical explanation. P-perhaps there's some sort of condition that just slows down your heart rate -- no, if it were that slow you wouldn't be moving -- or just some sort of circulatory -- no, but then you shouldn't be able to feel anything...

*Oh boy, he's gone into full-on scientific denial mode.*

[She hops again, as though to remind him of her stiff legs.]
