*He'd caught a few of the falling anemoi in his hat at one point, but hadn't really bothered to get them processed yet. It could wait after the holidays, after all! But apparently memories were going to come as a little holiday gift anyway. And so it was, as he worked on stuffing what holiday stuff he had away for another day -- and getting rid of some of this ridiculous "Dave Cave" stuff while he was at it -- that something just... clicked. He tried to run it through his head a bit to make sense of it, but no, there it was.*

I didn't say I knew everything. In fact, if I can clearly recall, I said that all I remember that has anything to do with you is carrying you to safety.

Perhaps, but then again, there's also a high possibility that I did, if we're partners like you say.
