[It started with a mild headache. He thought at first that it might just be your regular, run of the mill headache; it was certainly loud enough with all the monsters to warrant one.

But that all changed when the fire nation attacked using his power resulted in something slightly... different. Namely, the chunk of falling debris coming out as something a bit more akin to a box of compacted material.

Which was... a dilemma, since now he couldn't exactly protect people by simply isolating them anymore. But that wasn't quite the end of it.

No, the worst part is the appearance of a giant, white-furred monster sporting some very nasty fangs, huge bat like wings, and a trademark pompom. And Yuta's pretty sure he knows the one moogle in town, meaning...]

*Okay, so he may not have powers right now, but danged if he's gonna stop being a hero because of it! He rushes in, firing a wire shooter to wrap around the creature's foot. One good tug and...*

Hey, careful what you do to him! He's not himself!

[EVO!Kupo predictably loses his balance and promptly crashes into a nearby building. Always gotta have that collateral damage.]

Yeah, I helped save him a while back. You better not ruin all of that!

[With a loud KUUUUUUU, the beast struggles to get back on its feet!]

[And true to his word, he starts running for cover. But not too far; he's going to keep an eye on this fight, because like hell he's going to risk losing Kupo now.

Kupo, for his part, has managed to get back on his feet and is now looking rather angrily at Kotetsu.]

*He begins to back up nervously. Aw crap.*

[And once he's close enough...

*Oh man, he BARELY dodged that one. Well, at least its attention is on HIM and not the kid. Time to book it.*

[It's continuing to follow him, and kind of trashing things up as it goes along.

City sure is going to be a wreck if this keeps up! Well, even more than before.]

*He shoots his wire shooter up at a flagpole and retracts it, using the momentum to swing himself up to it so that he can fire and swing even higher. He's gotta find someone who IS willing to deal with that thing -- and CAN do it!*

[Kupo is seriously tearing the crap out of the streets as he lumbers after, giant arms swinging and crashing into things. At some point he does stop though!

If only just to spread his wings and leap up into the sky.]

Looks like he's got no choice but to try to take the thing down himself before it does more damage. Sorry, kid, but the lives of others takes priority here. He's sure they'll fix the little guy right up afterwards.

[Kupo is certainly flying towards Kotetsu with a nasty snarl! What do?]

*He waits for his moment -- then dives under the former moogle and aims his wire-shooter again -- this time at the creature's wings. Let's bring him down to Earth, eh?*

[The creature's wings are successfully caught by the wire, conveniently tying them together. With a loud cry, the giant monster crashes into the street again.]

*And yanks him with it! He just barely manages to grab the edge of the building before he gets totally tossed over the side. He really should've thought his cunning plan through a bit better.*

[The giant mooglebeast begins pulling itself to its feet, looking ready to just claw at both Kotetsu and the building...

Except it's briefly distracted by a small box getting thrown at it. And another. And another.

Yuta's talking into his phone just to make sure Kotetsu can hear him loud and clear.]

What the hell are you doing?!

[The mooglebeast is hesitating between the two targets. Might be good to make another move quick!]

I was TRYING to save YOUR life! We gotta knock this guy out and take him to the kid who can cure this crap, you know!

*He tries to pull himself up and slips a bit. Damnit. This is REALLY embarrassing.*

[When Kupo starts going for Kotetsu, he resumes his junk-chucking. It's not nearly big enough to do any real damage, but at least it's irritating enough to be a distraction?]

[...And now it's turning towards the kid.]

Don't underestimate me. You said there was someone who can cure him, right? Call him over already!

[He's already starting to run, and while he doesn't exactly have super speed, he's pretty fast for a kid. Kupo's definitely focused on Yuta now, and starting to go after him.]
