[Action: inside Yuri & Hei's apartment]

[Yuri stares in surprise at the extremely odd outfit that he's discovered among his possessions. He would think it just an unusual kind of costume, but it appears to come with--a crossbow? He picks up and turns the weapon over in his hand. It is no mere prop. Why would he have something like this? He frowns, studying the face of the mask, with its handprint mark, reminiscent of the scar on his face.]

[Video: much later]

[Yuri has hidden the costume and crossbow away in his closet, but there is a new item visible in his apartment, which he purchased today: a sewing machine. He's remembered something else. Not the reason he owns a crossbow, but the fact that he can sew, and quite skillfully, too. He thinks it likely that he designed and made the costume, for whatever reason, as it appeared at roughly the same time as his memory, odd as that is.

Suddenly, there are elaborate patterns forming in his mind, no few of them for capes, but instead of a cape, he's working on making a men's jacket.] Hello. My name is Yuri Petrov, for those of you I've not yet become acquainted with.

I've just remembered a talent for designing and creating clothing. It's quite relaxing, actually. [He could really use the relaxation.] If anyone would like something made, I would be happy to do so.

[Upon entering the apartment for the first time, Hei stops at the threshold when he sees Yuri inside. He forces himself to give Yuri a somewhat doofy half smile, half look of surprise.]

You're, um… my roommate?

[Yuri gives a slight start at the unexpected entry, then offers a smile of his own. He rises from the chair where he'd been reading. He's not entirely surprised by this. He'd been expecting to be assigned a roommate sooner or later.]

Ah, yes. I suppose I am. My name is Yuri Petrov. Pleased to meet you. [He extends a hand.]

[Keith appears, smiling, in his usual plain white tee. Oh, Keith.]

You're a really talented person, Yuri. It's really kind of you to share your talents with everyone.
I don't think I need any clothes-- what kind of clothes do you like to make best?

Ah, hello, Keith. Thank you, but it's just a hobby, really. I only remembered the fact that I like to sew, and how to do it, but not my preferences or what I've made in the past.

So far I like to make menswear, but I believe I have the technical knowledge to make most things, if I had the proper supplies.

Really? Can you make dresses? I can make a few myself, but they all end up kinda simple.

[He takes it and offers him a moderately weak shake.]

Li. I'm afraid I don't remember my last name yet, but at the lab they did tell me that was normal.

It's nice to meet you, too. I hope I won't be too much trouble.

[Yuri gives a firm answering squeeze, then releases his hand.]

It is. I knew only my last name for more than a week, not knowing that it was my last rather than my first.

I'm sure you won't be, Li. I'm often out, so I won't be in your way too much. However, if there's anything I can do to help you, don't hesitate to let me know.

I can. If you were to describe what you wanted, I do believe I can create rather elaborate patterns based on ideas. [If he did make that costume he found, it's quite a complicated piece of work.]

I don't think I'll be in here much, either. They probably aren't offering many stay at home jobs.

I do have a few questions, but I was going to broadcast them out to the town in a little while. I am interested in seeing what kind of people there are around.

Oh, really? That's so awesome! How about a megas cute dress with just a bit of ruffle and a jacket? Oh, and in blue and green! I think it'd look swell!

Menswear, is that like suits? I wonder what I'd look like in a suit!
You must be making clothes for yourself. What are your favorite colors for clothes?

How much are you charging?

I can do that easily. I happen to have blue and green fabric already. [The colors green and blue, along with grey, seem to be his favorites.]

I will need to know your measurements, or at least your size--or you can provide me with some of your clothes to measure from, if you prefer.

Nothing at all. I find it rather meditative and relaxing. Yet there's only so much I need to make for myself, and I thought it would be an interesting challenge to design for others.

You can contribute to pay for materials, if you'd like.

Yes, like suits. I can make you one, if you'd like.

I do like gray, for suits. But green and blue are also favorites of mine, it seems. [He had felt drawn to those colors, and they remind him of the fire.]

No, I doubt it. Though it is possible to live off one's stipend, if one lives simply, and some seem more interested in occasional adventures than regular employment. I prefer a more mundane way of earning my livelihood.

There are a variety of interesting people here. I'm sure you'll learn a great deal from them. I've found most of them helpful and willing to share information.

Free, really? That's pretty generous of you, Yur'. I might have to take you up on that.

Roger! I'll get that stuff over to you as soon as possible! Gonna have to remeasure myself, though -- I don't remember the details anymore! Hahaha!

Well, I wouldn't want to make extra work for you, but I would really like to see what I'd look like in a suit. I think blue is a favorite color of mine, too-- but grey would be okay too! I get the feeling I don't know very much about clothes. I trust you.

So, how does it happen? The suit, I mean.

Oh no, it's not what I would call extra work. As I said, I enjoy doing it. As for blue or gray, I can easily manage either.

Ah, you'll have to give me your measurements--or I'll be glad to take your measurements myself, if you don't remember. You can stop by anytime. Even now, if you like.

Ah, yes, that is our primary difficulty here. [He smiles.] Bring it by anytime. If I'm not in, you can leave it by the door.

By the way, what is your name?

Okay-dokey! Will do!

I'm Tsuruya! That's all I gots, I'm afraid! Nice to meet you though, Mr. Petrov!

Maybe it would be a ogod idea for you to do it-- I have no idea what my measurements are or what to measure!
I've got plenty of time before I have to report for duty. Since now is good for you and for me, I'll stop by your apartment very soon, Yuri.

[Keith makes his way to room 309, and gives the door a nice, polite knocking. Once it has opened, he smiles.]

[He steps back, gesturing for the other man to enter.] I've put the water on for tea. It should be ready shortly.

Do let me know. I'll simply need your measurements and a description of the garment you'd like. I appear to be able to make a wide range of apparel.
