[He sits on a low wall, looking at the phone-thing in his hand. The scientist had tried to show him how it worked, but none of it had made sense to him. Shaking his head, he starts to put the phone into his right pocket, but there's something already there. Shoving the phone into his left pocket with his new ID, he pulls out the object from his right.]

[It's a silver pocket watch, attached to his belt with a short chain. He rubs the cover of the watch with his flesh fingers, tracing the dragon intertwined with a hexagram. It means nothing to him, and there's no other markings on the outside. He tries to open the watch... and frowns. It won't open. Letting out a frustrated huff, he shoves the watch back in his pocket.]

[He really should find this Ermis Suites place. He's sore and tired, and if the cuts on his face and the state of his clothes are any indication, he'd just been in some sort of brawl. Maybe that's why he's got metal limbs. To punch people better.]

[Damn... this not knowing who the fuck he is... it's irritating.]

((ooc: Ed is missing his signature red jacket! So his right arm is all out on display.))

[The waitress seems to know his hallucination pretty well.]

[still not sure why he agreed to this... but the cafe seems real enou--the waitress looked right at the rabbit]

Wait... you see that?

[he points at the rabbit]

[the waitress gives him an offended look, of course she does!]

He's new~

[Mokona stage-whispers to the waitress, who gives Ed an understanding look and sashays off to the kitchens.]

You... you can talk!

Uh-huh!

Did it really take you that long to notice? But you got it eventually, so you still get a gold star!

[he's not sure if he preferred hallucinating this or not]

Well... well... I don't think rabbits talk where I come from.

Mokona isn't a rabbit, though! Mokona is a Mokona.

...Mokona is also a Pokemon, but she isn't in the Pokedex.

[Mokona. Pokemon. Pokedex. There was no way he was actually hallucinating, was there? There was no way he could come up with these weird words on his own, right?]

Nuh-uh! Mokona is the only Mokona in town!

[well that's a relief]

Uh-huh! Don't worry, if it's too personal, Mokona will just lie!

Mokona only remembers a little bit so far, though.

Okay. So. Who're these Clow and Yuuko people you mentioned earlier?

The people Mokona was living with before!

Yuuko dresses like a harlot and drinks a lot, and Clow wears glasses! They're both magical people.

[Nobody has actually told Mokona what a harlot is, aside from that it's what Yuuko dresses like.]

[Magical people? He can't help but look a bit skeptical.]

What do you mean by 'magical'?

Mokona means that they are people who do magic!

Like making Mokona, and making Mokona invisible so they can go out in secret.

[And here's their order. It looks pretty delicious. Mokona climbs onto her doughnut place and starts nibbling.]

[Someone made this little furball? At first he simple thinks of it like breeding, but invisible?]

You're yanking my leg. You can't really become invisible.

[those donuts look good though... he picks one up and takes a bite]

[So. Good. Mokona dips a section of one in her cider. That is just how she rolls.]

Mokona can't without Mokona's special umbrella.

[man, this is seriously has to be the most intricate hallucination ever... even the donuts taste good]

An umbrella that makes you invisible. I'd certainly like to see that.

[of course... then Mokona would be invisible so he wouldn't really be seeing anything at all]

[Mokona's now reclining back against the hot cider mug as she feasts.]

The umbrella is the only thing you can see, since Clow and Yuuko forgot to make that part invisible too!

[that makes him snicker a bit]

So the umbrella makes you invisible, but you can still see the umbrella. Seems a bit counter productive.
