Danny dashed behind a barrier, taking a few seconds to catch his breath before peeking around the corner. No Vriska in sight. Part of him wanted to relax, knowing she wasn't around, but not being able to see her actually just put him on his toes even more.

He gripped the gun tighter. The game was pretty even so far, but he didn't want to give her any chance to take the lead. So he held his breath and kept an eye out for a crazy girl to pop out that he could shoot.

And Danny falls over on his back in slow motion, crashing to the floor as his facial structure compresses, his skull cracks, and his teeth, now cracked and shattered, fly out of his mouth at speeds comparable to a sprinting penguin.





Okay, not really.

Danny barely has time to register that his face hurts before his leg kicks out to snag around Vriska's ankles and yank.

Vriska drags Danny with her, and they both go crashing into a haphazard heap that is clearly against laser tag regulations.

She immediately begins punching and headbutting him, her gun long forgotten.

Oh god what.

Danny manages to block the first few punches using his laser tag gun, but between two fists and one head bashing into him, he couldn't block everything. He throws back the gun and pushes Vriska off of him and turns the tables, climbing on top of her and pinning her down.
