Hey, Sirocco. Dude at the lab said I should introduce myself, and even though doing it kinda makes me feel like I'm at one big... memory-haver's-anonymous meeting, I guess it's a good idea. Name's Gordon. I have no idea what my last name is, or what the hell I'm even DOING here, but from what I understand that's pretty normal around here. So where are we exactly? I mean, what country is this? They were pretty quick to NOT answer that question in the lab, believe me I asked. It looks suspiciously like Canada...

wait, have I even been to Canada?

Eh, whatever. Is there anything else I ought to know while I'm at it? Oh yeah, also I'm rooming with a guy named uh... Booster? I'm headed that way, as soon as I can find the place.

Whoa, hold up. Monsters? Yeah, they said something about that back at the lab, but I thought they were talking about escaped animals or something. Like an alligator that got loose and got big enough to eat cattle. Gorillas in the mist, that kinda shit.

Well, they can be stuff like that too, but these guys are apparently big blue things people have a hard time getting rid of. I've heard there's other things out there too, but I don't really do the adventure stuffs much!

Pfft, hey as long as the CDC hasn't issued any warnings at your door and nothing's growing hair that isn't alive, I'm cool. I'll probably be spending most of my time working anyway. With no education to my name and nothing even CLOSE to a resume I'm staring down a grand career of flipping burgers and getting scalded by fry grease.

And they're actually expecting confirmed amnesiacs to go out and contain these things... Man, I don't wanna make waves, but that seems like a pretty stupid defense policy. I guess it keeps the citizens safe, though. Just throw enough expendable John Does at the monsters and eventually one of 'em'll score a hit, right?

Hey, you call it cynical, I call it observant! Anyway I'm with you, I'll leave hunting the Blue Meanies to the guys who are used to it. I'm no fighter; at least, I'm pretty sure I'm not. I sure as hell can't remember the last barroom brawl I was in right now. And with a name like the "Justice League" they have to have SOME cred, I guess... sounds like something out of a damn comic book...

Huh, guess you're right, I probably should keep my options open. That Tsuruya chick mentioned adventuring and something about busting up some weird blue things but... Iiiii dunno, something about chasing down honest-to-god monsters leaves a bad taste in my mouth. But hey, if you got ideas, I'll listen!

Oh god, no, leave the blue things to us professionals, you don't want to mess with those. Of course, I wouldn't recommend trying to take on even the more run-of-the-mill monsters until you remember something useful. Every once in a while, some of the locals will ask us to do odd jobs, that stuff's usually pretty easy, anybody could do it. Or if you're really impatient, you could ask for some spare anemoi, we keep some down at League HQ.
