Y'know, I didn't realize it before, but these apartments here are pretty sweet! As far as apartments go, and all that. I mean, hey, it's better than back home. The only good thing about remembering my old room is that I remembered something at all.

But hey, I know something that's way better to remember than a dumb old room! [Rex pulls out a small book from his jacket.] A journal. Just remembered I've been keeping this bad boy with me the whole time! There must be all kinds of awesome stuff about me in here! Bet you guys all wished you had one too, huh?

Even if I still don't get why anyone would write in something as dinky and...old-fashioned as a journal.

First thing I did when I came to was check my pockets. Now I'm no expert, but I know that's the first place to look for visual cues when you suddenly lose your memories. Yeah, sure, I didn't find anything, but my point is if you're gonna gloat, don't do it in a way that makes you sound like a moron.

What makes you think this jacket has pockets? [Rex holds up his arms and does a full 360 degree turn to show that there are no visible pockets. He also shows the inside of each jacket flap. There, too, are no visible pockets.]

I don't know how, but it's like you've got to know the secret password just to know they exist. 'Sides, it's not like the journal was noticeably heavy or anything either.

Look, sorry. Hey it's no secret that we all wish we had a written record of our own past at this point, and all I got in the pocket of that stupid blue jumpsuit was that weird key that doesn't fit anything. Yeah, technically that's something but it's still pretty useless to me right now. Color me a little frustrated at the whole damn thing.
