WHO: Tsuruya and anybody who so chooses to join her.
WHAT: Lost in the Woods.
WHEN: Halloween.
WHERE: These woods you could've sworn was a neighborhood five seconds ago.
NOTE: Coincides with the candy handouts. Next time, follow the LETTER of the law instead of just the spirit, Tsuruya.
Handing out candy is all well and good, but Tsuruya gets a little antsy just sitting around after a while. Not THAT many kids swing by the hotel, after all, and so she decides to be a little more proactive with her candy presentations. Which is why she's out on the town, the candy provided to her by the town (along with a few extra sweets she made herself!) by her side, dressed in a rather fashionable witch costume as she hums to herself.
...Did we say "town?" Make that "woods."
Actually, Tsuruya's not even sure how it happened. She'd been handing out candy to kids, but got lost in thought after a while when she wasn't seeing anybody else to provide sweets too, and before she knew it she was in a dense wooded area when she was pretty sure this was the way to downtown. In fact, she's not sure it ISN'T downtown; that boulder looks awfully like the burger joint she's seen down this way before.
"Hmm..." She's fascinated, to be sure, but at the same time acutely aware of the day, and that weird things happening on said day don't always mean anything good. This could be a problem.
"Well... no way to go but forward! For now, anyway." She leaves it up to the fates, then. Things have a tendency to work out for her anyway.

"Don't think I've ever seen so many trees before..."

"I know! It's like a forest just poppeds up outta nowhere! You think they're supposed to be megas spooky, Halloween sorta woods? 'Cause... that ain't good." Hey, Tsuruya has a good humor for a lot of things, but she's not COMPLETELY lacking in sense.

"Maybe? Man, I can't even remember where I was. That's... not a good sign."

She looks around. "Anyway I don't thinks just staying here's gonna help. Might as well head in one direction and see if we gets out, huh?"
are you willing to backdate?
At least Rin was awfully honest when it came to these things, a hand resting on her hip. Truth be told, she wasn't feeling particularly fond of the woods and passing out candy was a task fit for someone not as lazy as her.
"Maybe we should follow our footsteps back out."

She looks around. "I ain't sure where our footsteps are anymore." Sure enough, there's a LOT of unrecognizable terrain around them now.

Rin leans close to the ground with a disapproving scowl.
"Ugh... I can't see a thing here at all."

Half-tempted to just burn down the entire woodlands, Rin just straightens up, glancing up towards the sky. She can barely make out the moon, the brush too thick.

Apparently she's decided actions speak louder than words, as she's already beginning to walk one way.

"It would be, but ugh.. You've really gotten us into a tough spot!"

Some walking later leads to a cottage. Of course. "Ooh, a cottage in the woods! That's like a fairy tale or something, isn't it?" Tsuruya exclaims, a little too cheerfully.
