[The hospital. Not Shirou's favorite place in the world. But when he got Rin back safely from that wrecked ship, it was the only place he could think of to take her. At least there, the nurses could get her out of her wet clothes and monitor her condition until she awoke.

Not that that did much for Shirou's mental well-being. After changing out of his own wet clothes, he returned to the hospital out of concern for his friend. At varying points, before Rin wakes up, Shirou can be found in the hallways or in the cafeteria.]

[Action; Locked to Rin]

[Shirou is sitting in a chair near the bed in which Rin lay. He's been here for a little while, as evidenced by his nodding off.]

You wouldn't defend my honor against someone because they look tough?

Let's just stop dealing in hypotheticals and go home, okay?

Yes, let's get back to our rooms.

[And so Shirou will walk Rin back to her room.]

[ What a proper gentleman.

Of course now this means it's time for awkward parting. ]

...Is there something else?

[gandere]

No.. I just thought I should say or do something to really show my gratitude, but I'm no good at this kind of thing.

You already thanked me on the way here. Besides, seeing that you're safe is gratifying enough.

Is that really enough for someone who risked their life to save mine though?

It's enough for me.

[gandere]

Well, if that's all then.. I should get inside. I need to wash my hair and probably rest a bit more. My head really is pretty sore still.

[ And in a brief moment of poor thinking (must be the after-effect of being in a hospital or bumping her head too hard), she'll lean in to try to give him a quick hug. ]

[Shirou is surprised by the uncharacteristically affectionate gesture. But hey. Hug. From a pretty girl. Shirou is NOT gonna complain, and in fact will return the hug.]

Thank you, Shirou.

[ Without another word, she'll pull away and try to retreat into her room. ]

[Shirou lets Rin go. When the door closes, Shirou turns around and walks back to his apartment, ready for a nap.
