So let me get this straight.

The government here is hiring amnesiacs - some of which are kids - until we can earn back our memories. I don't know why, but something about this just sounds really sketchy to me.

[Just arrived and already breaking out the sarcasm! Clearly this kid is a real gem.]

Anyway, I'm new here, and there are some rocks falling from the sky. Could somebody help me get to the apartments without getting pelted too much by it? It doesn't look too heavy right now, but I don't think I want to risk it. I'm already suffering from memory loss, so there's no need to make it worse.

So this stuff is anemoi? Huh. I thought it was just some odd-looking hail.

--most of this is. I can't say why anemoi would be included. Perhaps we're not gathering them quickly enough.

So... what's to stop us from just gathering a bunch now and getting all our memories back?

After a while, new pieces turned to hail. Something's monitoring how much we're allowed.

Figures. Oh well, at least I'll be able to get something back now. Thanks for that!

We're almost there. You can - borrow some of my things, if yours are too wet.

[He glances over his clothes - not only are they kind of wet, but they're also really made more for summer than snow.]

Do you think I could? Something tells me that staying in these clothes would be a bad idea.

It's fine...I don't have much, but...

[He takes the clothes gratefully.]

I'll use the bathroom real quick. Are you busy later? If you are I can probably find the shops on my own, but it would be faster with someone who actually knows the area...
