WHO: Tsuruya, Ruby, Ken, Rosalia, Barnaby, Jaime, and anybody else who wants to be in pictures
WHAT: Let's motivate some kids!
WHEN: January 5
WARNING: Bad acting is inevitable.

There may be new jobs, but there was still a vital one left to be done, and Tsuruya was no slouch.

They were allowed use of the school's cafeteria, where they could make use of the space as much as they needed. Tsuruya looks around, envisioning the layout. That situation with the moon had inspired her on the script writing, and she now had a good idea what to do. This was going to be the best inspirational film for kids ever.

Or at least the most hilariously bad. Tsuruya could pretty much go in any direction on that front.

Either way, they needed to start setting up, and she needed to wait for the others.

"A script?" Rosalia shook her head. "No, not yet. I thought we were going to get it here, and then practice for a little while." That made sense, right? She was pretty sure enough time had passed for someone to write a script for a short movie. At least, it'd be short if it was meant to be for the kids, right?

...She didn't really know how these things worked. "Did you hear anything else about what we're going to be doing?"

"I'm sorry." Ken looked dejected, first at hearing she hadn't seen a script and then at not being able to help. "But - we wouldn't have been called without a plan. And there must be other ways we can help, if needed."

Except he wasn't good with fiction. What else was required to put on a film?

"Hm..." Rosalia tapped her chin. "That's true. Things'll work out somehow, whatever happens. I wonder if this thing has a due date? I'm pretty sure it's been weeks since I talked to Tsuruya about this."

She looked back at the door, watching for anyone who might coming through to join in. "I guess we have to wait for other people to get here, too, anyway."

"I guess...." Ken'd looked troubled at the mention of a due date, and the expression wasn't fading away.

Bowing his head, he addressed not so much Rosalia as the air directly in front of him. "You don't think - it'll come too late, do you? Inspirational films will always be needed."

So much for 'things'll work out', from the look on his face.

"Exactly! Even without payment, there's always a need to feel INSPIRED!"

Tsuruya slides in, looking confident. "Yo ho! I thought I'd wait for you guys, but you were the ones kept waiting instead! Hahahaha! Hope you weren't waiting too long! How're you guys doing?"

Somewhat reassuringly, she seems to have some sort of manuscript on hand.

"Oh, hi Tsuruya!" Rosalia brightened up upon seeing her--she'd been getting kind of worried, but it looked like things really were going to be okay. "I've been great. I'm really excited to start working on this! Is that the script you've got right now?"

Ken relaxed too, particularly upon seeing what looked like a manuscript. If he'd had to ad lib...

"I'm - well too," he concurred, also looking at the papers in question. Come this point curiosity had begun to rule over trepidation. "We just got here."

"Great, great! I'm glad you all are so enthusiastic about this! I gots a script written up over the holiday! It's a bit rough, but I think it'll work just fine! Here, take a look!" She passes it around.

Upon review, she seems to have taken the event of the moon falling and utilized it to a somewhat more... metaphoric effect, with heroes knocking the moon away. Things about "the future still being bright" and "even when things seem at their worst, everything will work out okay" seem to be the general themes.

"So, whatchyas think?"

"Oh, wow," Rosalia remarked as she looked over the script. "Did you get this from when the moon almost dropped a few days ago? You work fast!" It had been only four days since then...she must have worked hard on this.

She shuffled the script so that it was in order and passed it to Ken. "Anyway, I like it! Maybe even better than what actually did happen the other day."

Ken accepted the manuscript and flipped through it, scanning the contents. Once he'd finished, he handed it back to Tsuruya with a nervous smile.

"It's - inspirational," he offered. "How will the special effects be managed?"

Something else nagged at him, something he couldn't quite place. It was reassuring, to see the events rewritten that way; things had all worked out for the best. But...

No, she'd worked hard on this. He'd feel odd offering a critique, however minor. Besides, what did he know about film?

"Yep! Well, I guess you could call it inspiration from the heavens! Hahahahaha!" She grins. "Okay, so it ain't exactly what happened. But it's not about the events, it's about showing kids what they can do if they put their minds to it! That even when the moon's coming down there's hope! I think it'll work megas awesome!"

Special effects, eh? "Well, we ain't exactly got a million dollar budget. I think if we just use a little film trickery, it should work fine, though!" she replies, waving things off. "Besides, we can always fix things in post."

"That sounds great! And are we going to make the props here, too?" Rosalia asked. "Or do we have them already? The same with costumes. Are we going to be using any for the movie?" She was definitely excited now--Tsuruya's enthusiasm made it hard not to be. And she had to admit, she did like the opportunity to dress up special even if it ended up being something silly for a kids' film.

Ken nodded along with Rosalia, feeling a little better. Inspire the children to act for themselves, huh? He definitely agreed with that message.

And then Rosalia got to costumes.

"Costumes?" Ken looked almost taken aback at the notion. There wouldn't be anything too outlandish, and it was for shooting a film, but...

"I'll - make props, if you need..." he mumbled. Unlike Rosalia, he definitely didn't know how he felt about dressing up. "Where do we start?"

"Start at the beginning, and keep going until you get to the end!" Tsuruya belly-laughs, as if that's the funniest thing she's ever said. "But don't worry about costumes; Ruby's got that megas covered! Let's start making a city scape, and a moon!"
