first trauma [video]
[Satori flips on the phone and angles the camera so her third eye is hidden from view. However, the yellow tendril attached to the side of her head is clearly visible. Also visible is the pet store behind her.
Without bothering to introduce herself (WHAT ARE SOCIAL SKILLS), she asks in a flat tone:]
Are pets allowed at the hotel?

...That's the first thought that runs through Satori's head. She wonders if perhaps they sell foxes like this one here...she does notice it's watching the cats, and says, more to herself than anyone else:]
I hope you're not thinking about eating those.
[Her first instinct is to check to see if it is thinking of eating the cats, but as she's still not used to controlling her third eye, she winds up following the thoughts of a passing lawyer instead.]

[At this point Satori realizes she is talking back to a fox, and feels a little ridiculous. But that expression it gave her couldn't have been anything but a proper response...]

[She indicates her third eye, which has by now started to stare at the fox.]
Maybe it will stop feeling so strange once I remember who I am.

You seem like you're tamed. I wonder if you've got an owner...?

The thought that the fox has lost her memory doesn't cross Satori's mind. If she had her previous mastery of the third eye on her chest, a quick jaunt through the fox's memories would confirm this immediately - but Satori hasn't figured out how to look that far into someone's mind yet. It hasn't even been a day and she doesn't remember how to utilize it, after all.]
If you're not sure, then...is there someone who takes care of you? Someone who gives you food and water, and a place to sleep at night.
...If you don't have someone like that, then...you must just be an especially smart fox.
[She's so deredere for animals /sobs]
