[The feed turns on to reveal a broad-shouldered young man with blue hair and a headband, and what appears to be a cape and a shoulder plate -- but the camera doesn't show that much in full. He has a quizzical look on his face.]

Hey, it works. Can anyone hear me? I'm looking for directions to the Ermis Suites. The people at the workshop told me I'm living there now, but they didn't give me directions and whisked me out before I could ask. If you can hear this, can you tell me how to get there?

[Eventually, once Ike reaches the Ermis Suites, he decides to go get some food. So he can be seen inside the restaurant on the first floor, eating...one hell of a spread. There must be enough servings to feed two or three people there. And a disproportionate amount of the food on the table is meat.

And he's plowing through it at a good clip.]

[At a nearby table, a boy with a large bug sitting in his lap watches you plug away at that food. He doesn't realize he's staring, sorry.

The bug, however, looks almost envious of such a spread.]

[Ike is too focused on his food to register people staring at him. He'll keep going until his meal has all been devoured.]

[Ken continues to stare until snapped out of it by a tug on his arm.]

Can we get seconds like his, Ken-chan?

Ah--

[Oh no, he'd spaced out watching a total stranger...]

--Huh?

[The question got Ike's attention, and he looked in the direction of the voice.

Cue look of confusion. He has no clue what a Digimon is.]

Oh - sorry....

[Ken looks down, blushing.]

He must be particularly hungry today....

That all looked good! Was it?

...Er. Yeah. It was.

...Sorry if I sound rude, but what are you?

I'm Wormmon!

He's - from my world. We're partners....

Unfortunately, I don't recall much more than that. I'm sorry.

The place I lived before being brought to Sirocco.

I've retrieved a few memories of it, though not many. Most had to deal with Wormmon.

So what you're saying is that we were all brought here from other worlds? I guess that does explain a little...

[He nods, wanting to help.]

It can be difficult, not knowing what to expect. But it's also exciting, I've found....learning about others' worlds, and determining your place in your own.

[But he realizes he's practically lecturing someone far older than he is, so he'll fall silent.]

Then that's something else I can look forward to.

Hey, could you tell me what kinds of things there are to do around here? The scholars didn't tell me much.

Several people have found employment. Specific requests are often posted, as well....

And - exploring outside the city sometimes yields anemoi.

How about places for training? I want to see if I can relearn how to use this.

[He motions to the sword hanging from his belt. Ragnell.]

For training - maybe the ruins? There's a group of people exploring those.

[His eyes widen slightly since that's...quite the sword.]

I'm afraid I don't know much more than that. But everyone here's been very eager to help.

Live combat wouldn't be a good idea until I remember how to use this sword. I'll ask around, and see if anybody else knows of a place to train. If not, I guess I could find an open space somewhere.

[Wormmon, meanwhile, has resumed staring with longing at the empty plates on Ike's table.]

[Ike looks up at her, obviously confused.]

Ah, never mind, never mind. If you haves to explain it, the joke's not funny anymore. So, you new in town? Looks like you're settling in all right. Or maybe that's the sound of the table settling! Hahaha!

Nice to meet yas, Ike! Don't worry, we've all been in your boat at some point! But even if you don't go looking for Anemoi, you start remembering stuff eventually. Take your time! Don't rush; there's plenty to enjoy around here! Then again, you seem to have gotten that already!

...Wait. Back up a little bit. We can remember things even if we don't venture into the wild or find employment?

What, the food? I guess I've just got a big stomach.

It must be bigger on the inside than on the outside 'cause I have no idea how all that can fit in a regular-sized stomach.

[like he can actually say much about having a large appetite]

Why think about it? If I can pack it away, that's all that matters.
