[ACTION; SIROCCO OPERATION SOCIETY; LOCKED TO ???]
*Misery floats in the air, watching the operations of the various lackeys mulling about their business. The fools. Were they even aware of what they were letting themselves in for? All they had rescued when they'd brought them there was their own servitude. She supposes she should not have expected any less of such silly humans, though.
And him. She's still not sure why he's here. Or, more importantly, why THAT is here. It doesn't matter. Nothing really matters right now. She just has to wait like a good girl until her orders are given. And then... well, only HE knows what's coming up.
She'd never admit it to anybody, but she wishes Balrog were here. Just so it felt a little less like the world had decided to pick on her, and only her. But there's no point in lamenting that sort of thing. Balrog is off somewhere, living a happy life. Honestly, she wouldn't wish that away from him. He'd deserved it, at least.
She's not sure what she deserves, but she's not sure it's this.*
[ACTION; OUTSIDE SIROCCO]
*So many ruins. So many of them complete crap. Certainly, there would have to be something that would be suited to his purposes. Why did so many people make so many useless buildings, only to abandon them later? People are idiots.
Those who are checking out the various other ruins themselves might spot a greenish witch flying around, occasionally landing and surveying. She doesn't SEEM to want to be bothered, but you know you haven't seen her before. She MUST be a fellow amnesiac. Dare you approach?*

[outside Sirocco]
It's his second day of doing these patrols, and what do you know! He actually finds someone--someone he doesn't recognize.]
Uh...hey there! You need help getting to town?
[People usually only come out here in groups, with a specific purpose. One person just flying around like this? She seems...lost.]
no subject
Hmm? Oh, perhaps later. I was looking for something, as a matter of fact. I feel I might have misplaced a necklace in one of these ruins.

He points to one slightly to the left.]
You think it could be in that one? We can check there first!
no subject
*Tall, spacious... but it looks like it probably has quite a draft in winter. That won't do.*
No, no, that doesn't seem quite right somehow. Perhaps another one?
no subject
[That's weird. Danny looks around again and finds another structure more to the right and points to that one now.]
What about there?
no subject
No, ah, this seems off as well. Perhaps one a little further away from the city limits? Yes, that seems about right.
no subject
[Danny jumps up and hovers in mid-air. He gestures towards her.]
Lead the way! Wherever you think it might be.
no subject
Oh my, I don't know if I'm the best to lead, but very well. Now let's see, where was that...
*She flies a little further away from the border of Sirocco. Ah, there's a place over there. Spacious. Well-lit. Less obvious. Although it simply won't do for him to know where it is. So she flies... considerably further left away from it, keeping it in mind. She finally spots an utterly UNideal building way out of the way.*
Ah! Perhaps this might be it. I think I will be able to manage from here, thank you.
no subject
no subject
I am quite capable of handling myself, thank you. It is not as if I do not appreciate the effort, but I would hate to keep you from whatever you were doing before you met me.
no subject
no subject
Well, if you absolutely insist. You are a most considerate young man, are you not? Let's hurry this up then, before it gets dark.
*There's monsters in here, right? Gotta be monsters. She thinks she has an idea how to handle this.*
no subject
[Danny moves forward into the structure, keeping an eye out for...whatever it is she lost. He holds up a hand lit with bright green energy for help.]
no subject
She manages to dart out of sight at one point, and finds... a strange little red crocodile. Nak nak.
Bah. Any port in a storm.
Carefully and quietly, she casts a spell; the little crocodile suddenly grows larger, and meaner-looking. She nods to herself. This ought to do it.
She screams.*
KYAAAAAAA!
no subject
I hope you like an ecto-knuckle sandwich!
no subject
NAK. NAK.
*Misery takes advantage of the chaos to slip out.*
no subject
By the time he gets enough time to finally step back, breathe, and look around, though, he notices that Misery is gone.]
Huh...?
Hey, where'd you go?!
[Sirocco Operation Society]
My, my. You're looking a little dull, Misery. Not enough work to do?
no subject
horrible, sadistic little creature whose research gave him access to terrifying powerswonderful, visionary man whose unparalleled yet misunderstood genius allowed him to create great strides in the science of power.*I am simply waiting for my orders, my Lord. I must admit, this strange change in location leaves me a little unsettled.
no subject
There's no need to feel that way. A "change" in scenery is just what we needed before restarting our goals. It really gives a sense of starting fresh.
no subject
*
Screw you, you crazy bastard, you put it that way deliberately!Who does not like to start fresh, away from those who are already wary? A truly perceptive man!*Mno subject
[You can't really hide your emotions anymore, Misery. ... Not that they weren't obvious before, but the betrayal doesn't make things as amusing as they once were.]

*
People can be happy in death, right?*no subject
Are you displeased?
no subject
*And more importantly, why the CURSE is back. Didn't that robot finally put Uncle Ballos out of his suffering?*
no subject
[A fair question that even the Doctor is curious about...]
It may have to do with the nature of this world. The force that supported the Crown's existence might be anchoring both it and ourselves to this world. Although, we may have to investigate a little more to find out.
Not that information like that would do you any good.
no subject
I do as the master of the crown bids me do. You know this well, my Lord.
no subject
no subject
As I said. I do the bidding of the crown. Which, I might note, was damaged at the time in your battle with the robot. Certainly, it would have repaired itself over time, though. As it always does.
no subject
[And as far as the Doctor knows, it's within the Crown's abilities to do that on its own. Lingering magical power reshapes and reforms over time. Even he doesn't quite know the secret behind Ballos in the Island.]
I'm relieved that I don't have to worry about another outburst like that. Really, as things are now, I think we have a far greater probability of claiming victory.
no subject
Of course. And when he wins... everybody else will lose.*Absolutely, my Lord! I, Misery, will personally help lead you to victory this time!
