[Barnaby has been thinking this over for a while now. He'd gotten offers to join the Justice League before, but it's only now that he's finally decided on it.]

[So, after that call and as soon as he can get some free time to himself, you can find Barnaby in the library, reading a book. Specifically, he's reading about a certain symbol and whatever it means. Every so often, he'll scribble something down on a piece of paper. He's been at this for a while, judging from the fact that he's filled up the paper with thoughts and facts, like "Jung - human psyche" and "what does the sword mean?"

[ Suddenly there's an eager girl leaning over towards him. ]

Do you have a sword as well? It seems a lot of people here do!

[Rex comes up from behind in the library and leans over Barnaby's shoulder. After a few moments, he speaks.]

Jung, huh?

[He's pronouncing it entirely wrong.]

[At this point, even Gordon is starting to get tired of the library runs. Yeah, technically he doesn't have the credentials for research--a fact he'd been trying very hard to cover up--but that doesn't mean he has to automatically be the lab gofer for reference materials from the lab...

[Except that it does. Anyway, he's laden down with another bundle of geology journals and treatises when he spies Barnaby at a table off to the side. He hadn't spent too much time around him but he DID see him back when they talked Booster back. He lopes over to get a closer look at what he's up to.]

...Jungian symbolism? [Oh hey, he pronounced it right too.] What's brought this on?
