12❣❣ captured princess
✘ ACTION;[ The boy who stated he just doesn't want to see anyone cry…
…Could only see crying humans forever. ]
Ugh---!! [ Fighting monsters gets to be a pain in the short skirt when random memories creep up on you. Alright, so maybe it wasn't too random. Rin did finally decide to cash in a lot of Anemoi. After waiting a couple of hours for her memories to return, she got bored enough to venture out in the wild. Sprawled out over stone rubble, she can't help but wonder if passing out here was intentional. ] It must be pretty late in the evening too.
[ Speaking to herself was something she normally would think to be done in poor taste, but it can't be helped right now. No, all she can remember is a strange conversation and her thoughts during it. ]
But I love that soft part of him. [ The girl repeats to herself before bringing a hand to her head. ] Am I really saved by having such a weak guy in my life though?
[ Even though there were more pressing thoughts in her mind, she chose instead to focus on that. It really couldn't be helped. After all, Shirou Emiya made more of an impression on her than that arrogant man in red. ]
✘ VIDEO;[ It's late at night, but Rin Tohsaka is beyond making a good impression right now.
I'm remembering things in fragments again. You think after all of the Anemoi I dumped at that stupid lab, that I would at least remember something all the way through. [ Hmph! ] I don't really feel up to returning to that annoying room of mine, so does anyone want to talk? Preferably not that other Rin since you annoy me.
(( OOC: 8% spent on Intelude 14-3. Spoilers ahoy! ))

Fine, I have a question, then. [ it's like talking, right? ] ... You only remember things in fragments? [ So you don't even regain whole memories instantly? :| This sucks. ]
[ voice ]
I don't know if it's the same for everyone. [ In fact, Shirou seems to be sure of himself anytime he remembers something. ] Maybe I just know so much that when I do recall something of the past, it just seems to be a fragment. Think of it as though it were a chain. A chain missing several links isn't very impressive or strong, but as more links get added on, it grows more durable.

[ .. That's not a really great prospect, she was hoping to remember some stuff pretty clearly sooner or later, but.. ]

How much do you think you remember so far then, aside from it all being fragments?

[Rosalia seems a little embarrassed.]
Things like magic, and monsters, and a lot of the things people here seem to know about...I didn't know anything about them before. So I'm really glad that I get to learn now!

Look, I know what you're going through. I work at the Labs myself, and up until a week ago it'd been nothing but fragments for me. Not that it's all crystal clear now, either...
[He still can't explain the images of the desert, of concrete corridors and dingy trams, of those weird things he saw in the ruins, and of a blast of sickly greenish-orange light that has no wavelength he's familiar with...]
--Memories just work that way I guess. You get impressions, stuff that stands out that seem to make no sense, and then LATER it all comes together.
It's frustrating especially when you have so many memories that tie in to each other, but you're missing pieces that are vital. I thought if I turned in that many anemoi at once that maybe I'd remember something all the way through...
It was a good idea, I'll admit. In fact it was a correlation I hadn't considered yet... damn shame that it didn't work. But at least you got something from all that anemoi. Even if they make no sense, those memories are still pieces to the puzzle that you didn't have before.
Pieces of the puzzle that leave me more frustrated. It's like I know what sort of piece to look for. An example being that I know the outside of the puzzle must have a flat edge piece, but I don't have any left. And I don't know when I'll get that piece. So I have sections upon sections just sitting here incomplete.
It's frustrating. Surely someone's figured out an easier way to have full memories returned.

[Eventually. The best he's managed to do so far is make them explosively shatter at low temperatures. And high temperatures. And from an electric charge barrier, compton scattering experiments, stress testing, resonance experiments, spectroscopy, AND leaving it in the microwave. He's starting to wonder how the things survive long enough to be picked up in the first place.]
I know it's frustrating, but remember you're not the only one. We're all looking to get our memories back, and we all would rather have them sooner rather than later.
