[Marona looks unusually subdued today. Though her hands aren't visible in the video, judging by the movements of her arms, she's fidgeting somewhat.

Okay, deep breath. While she doesn't particularly want to talk about it, she can't help but think that it's only fair for the others to know.]

I... remembered some things about home.

[Another pause. It's now or never.]

I think... most people didn't like me there very much. I have a power, Chartreuse Gale, and it lets me see and talk to Phantoms. But people don't understand it, so they think I'm possessed, and that the Phantoms are just telling me what to do so I can trick them.

[She hangs her head.]

That's... that's not true at all, though! There are very nice Phantoms out there. But normal people can't see them, so they don't understand.

[She falls into an uncomfortable silence for a moment.]

That's all I wanted to say. Um, if you think it's creepy, then... That's okay, too. I just wanted everyone to know.

[She quickly ends the feed.]

I do not see how that is entirely unusual, however. A phantom is simply another youkai, right? That you should have such good relations with them is admirable, in a way.

Indeed. There should always be a few people who can bridge the gap between youkai and human. Of course, the gap must still exist for the sake of youkai, but I do not see why we cannot learn to get along in this day and age.

Odd, I... only remember the days of great antagonism between youkai and humans, yet I feel as though this is an old-fashioned conceit. Curious, is it not?

...I don't remember much, but I don't think the Phantoms in my world fought with humans a lot. I mean, there were some I'm sure, but a lot of the ones I knew were very laid back.

That is a fortunate thing. All I remember is the strife. Humans feared youkai, and they feared those beasts who would become youkai. Perhaps the fear they had of the unknown mirrors the reactions of the people you have met.

Maybe... It definitely seems that way, from what I can remember.

I believe there is great potential for things to be different here, however. After all, we know ourselves as much as we know others in this place. Perhaps the Gods intended it that way so that our bonds had more room to grow.

...That might be right. And with everyone remembering things about themselves as time passes, we can learn even more about each other!

Precisely! We can comfort each other over our sad memories, and laugh with our happy ones! IT really is quite amazing when you think of it.

Mm-hmm! And everyone is so accepting of each others' memories...

[She lowers her head again a little, but this time she's tearing up for an entirely different reason.]
