Danny doesn't even respond via video, he automatically takes off and makes his way into Booster's office, intangibly passing through the wall and moves toward Booster. In fact, Booster probably feels the hand on his wrist before Danny comes into sight a few seconds later.]

That's...huh.

[Seems Booster does have a pulse and isn't dead after all.]

[Booster jumps when Danny grabs his wrist. Jesus Christ, those hands are frigid, what are you, dead or someth--oh right.]

[Danny recalls hearing somewhere that checking pulse by wrist is unreliable because what you may actually be feeling is your own pulse. So he lets go of Booster's wrist, but instead pushes his head right up against his chest, listening for a heartbeat.

He's kind of forgotten the parts where he's currently in ghost form, so feeling his own pulse was never a possibility in the first place, and if Booster was dead, he would've sensed it.

Remembering that you led your superdad babby friend to his death can do that sometimes.]
