002; action

[Saleh stands at the top of the large hill not too far from the lab. It's a fine spot to be watching the city from, but the view isn't what he's interested in today. This is just a place he's taken a liking to.

Both hands raised to chest level, at first glance, his posture may seem odd when a small cube appears out of thin air. It rotates slowly before vanishing as Saleh drops his hands back to his sides. He lets out a mirthful breath.

There are exceptions, after all.

[He brushes his fringe aside, only for the breeze to blow it right back in place. He smirks.]

The wind is especially good today.

I think I'll focus on understanding this world specifically before I start delving into others. Especially this whole idea that memories are somehow connected to stones.

I'm still not convinced they in themselves help anybody remember anything. If they won't let me view the extraction process myself, I don't see how they can possibly expect me to buy that. I bet it's some sort of side effect of the spacial displacement and the memory loss is just temporary. I just need to read more into it.

I'd still like to at least see one for myself and analyze its properties. If they claim it restores memories, there must be some sort of reasoning behind it.

Who said I'd be passing it off to them?

It's not so much believing as in locating the origins of the belief. There might be some sort of chemical properties that stimulate the mind or something to convince people that they somehow are crystallized memories themselves.
