[ACTION; PRIVATE]
*Up to this point, he'd been looking forward to the memories; all the little memories of Tomoe, their marriage, their meeting, and so on. It had been spurring him on, knowing someone was waiting for him. Someone who loved him, who was waiting for him to come home.
The end of that illusion came, ironically, in a dream not long after the last batch of anemoi he got.
It was too vivid to be anything other than a memory. Images of her collapsing, then her in a hospital bed. And then... a phone call after a heroic rescue, a hurried rush home, and opening the doors to the sight of HER, tastefully laid out in the traditional style, a sheet covering her prone body.
He woke up, still confused; it was a dream, right? But then he reaches his cheeks, and feels the tears, and remembers. Six years ago, now.
Tomoe was dead.*
[ACTION; PUBLIC]
*Not that he shows it too much in public. He tries his best to be his usual cheerful self around others; only when he's by himself does he let the melancholy in. He doesn't need anybody worrying about him, after all.
But maybe you catch him in one of his down moments. Briefly. Do you approach?*
[VIDEO]
You know, I was thinking. A guy like me, hoarding all these memories for himself when other folks might want some! Seems kinda selfish, doesn't it? How about I just give some of you guys the ones I find instead? Just for a little while! Come on, what do you say?
((OOC: 3% on Tomoe's illness and death.)

Well, don't you look as happy as ever.

Who, me? Ah, just thinking about some chores I gotta do, is all. That new hero base is getting set up, you know! Gonna have to put a lot of elbow grease into getting it fixed up.

Ah, yes. Justice League Sirocco. A perfect setup for someone like you.

Yuri isn't one for getting involved in the emotional lives of others, but after all, he and Kotetsu are from the same world, and they know each other somewhat.]
Hello, Kaburagi. [A pause. He doesn't want to pry.] You seem troubled. [Being troubled is something he knows about.]
Re: action;
*Evasive mode!*
Ah, well... just wondering how well this whole superhero league thing's going to go. I mean, it's one thing to talk about it, but now we're actually getting somewhere with it.
action;
It isn't like you to worry about such things. [He doesn't remember everything about this man, but even based on their dealings so far in Sirocco--Kotetsu rarely seems to worry, eager to charge ahead and not think about the consequences. He feels somewhat awkward about this, as they're not personally close, but something is decidedly off, so he'll ask.] What else is the matter?
Re: action;
Eh? What makes you think anything's the matter? Trust me, I'm fine. Once this whole thing gets started up, you'll think you were imagining the whole thing!

But he does remember Kotetsu, somewhat. And he's kind of unimpressed by the fact that he had to rescue him at least once.
When he notices him with a melancholy expression on his face, though--unusual for him, really--something tells him that he should probably be cautious here. After all, the older man's been around longer. Maybe he finally remembered something that wasn't what he expected.
So he simply walks on over.]
Is there something wrong, old man? [But it won't stop him from calling him "old man". Oh, no.]
Re: [action]
Who, me? Nah. Just thinking about what we're gonna need to get that new Justice League thing up and running properly is all. Oi, Bunny, did you get any memories back after that laundry gig?

Today he sees Kotetsu Kaburagi. Keith knows what wanting to be alone looks like. But he isn't the type to leave a friend completely unbothered, either.]
Hello, Kotetsu.
no subject
Oi, Keith! How's it going? The patrolling going any easier with that NEXT power of yours?
no subject
I do use it sometimes for patrolling, but it's not that efficient unless there's a stiff breeze. I enjoy it more when I'm off duty, I think.
It's a nice feeling, being off by myself. Even if it is in midair. It feels easier to think things through up there.
Everyone needs to be alone sometimes, I guess.
How are things with you?
