[The hospital. Not Shirou's favorite place in the world. But when he got Rin back safely from that wrecked ship, it was the only place he could think of to take her. At least there, the nurses could get her out of her wet clothes and monitor her condition until she awoke.

Not that that did much for Shirou's mental well-being. After changing out of his own wet clothes, he returned to the hospital out of concern for his friend. At varying points, before Rin wakes up, Shirou can be found in the hallways or in the cafeteria.]

[Action; Locked to Rin]

[Shirou is sitting in a chair near the bed in which Rin lay. He's been here for a little while, as evidenced by his nodding off.]

Well, there were several puzzles to solve, and we had to catch that parrot. Which turned out to be a metal parrot.

Hey, I had no way of knowing. You were knocked out by the squid, and we got you out of the water. Then we brought you back when we got what we came for.

A squid... that sounds so gross. It didn't do anything weird to me, did it?

No. I cut the tentacle that was holding you off.

I guess you're reliable then.

I would suggest you be more careful, but the squid was honestly sheer bad luck.

I was careful. Who suspects a squid to just randomly show up and drag someone with it!?

That's...what I was saying. It was just bad luck.

Well, make sure it doesn't happen again!

[ Well, now she can at least show a bit of gratitude. ]

...Yeah, that's what I did. And you're welcome. It's good to see you're all right.

It does feel nice to be up and about. I wasn't out long, was I? There really wasn't anything wrong with me either, right? I didn't read those papers.. they were too boring. Well, it doesn't matter.

[ She'll give a nervous laugh after all of that. ]

Come on, let's go back to where we stay! My roommate is probably wondering where I wa---what if she thinks the two of us--!!! My life is ruined!

I was out overnight and returning with a boy? What do you think she's going to think? What would your roommate think if he saw this!?

...Uh...I'm about 99.9 percent certain that he wouldn't care in the slightest.

There's still a .1% chance he would care though!
