Soul Rhapsody
[Action]
[For the past few weeks, Jr. has been trying - and failing - to get his shiny new floating skateboard under control. It hadn't taken him long to realize that the thing just kept rising, with no way of steering it back down. First, rocks were tied to it. Then scraps of metal. He even tried his bed, but that didn't work so well - not only did it defeat the purpose of zooming around on an awesome floating skateboard, but it left him without a place to sleep at night, and was more trouble than it was worth.
Never one to give up easily, Jr. had his brain working overtime to find a way of making this work. And so he had fashioned a series of metal tracks with a kind of pulley attached to the skateboard, and he added more to the tracks every day. Eventually he had enough to make a track around the apartments that headed toward the forest. And so the residents of Sirocco would likely see and/or hear a short redhead laughing happily as he zooms around his makeshift track on his floating skateboard.]
[Phone]
Does anybody know what happens to the people that leave here? Do they just vanish, or what? That white-haired guy and his huge dog have been missing for a while now...

Not bad, for a starting point.

Thanks! It sure took long enough, but it's so worth it.

During the early parts of his experimentation, Dave watches Jr. floating past while awkwardly hanging to a skateboard that has achieved near neutral buoyancy by having rocks tied to it.]
Dude!
I warned you about air!

What?

They can't.

...okay, well, it sorta looks just like a regular skateboard.

That thing is basically useless unless you want to go up.

[He lowers the skateboard as much as he can by tugging on the rope attaching it to the tracks.]

[Probably.
He thinks.
He's not sure, but he has a really good hunch about this idea, and he's pretty sure it'll work!]
no subject
You sure you can handle this, man?

[As soon as Mokona is secure, Jr. pushes off of a nearby tree and they go flying around the track at top speed.]
