So hey! How's the remembering going you guys? Me, I'm doing great! Getting to remember a few more things about my daughter, and all the neat stuff I did back home. And I just remembered my hero! He was this guy, Mr. Legend. The greatest Hero of them all! He taught me I could do a lotta good things with my gifts, and I'll never forget that! Any of you guys remember anybody you admire?

*Whoops. He's gotten so used to talking casually about this sort of thing with the Hotel residents that he's forgotten some of them weren't THERE for the initial re-revelations. On the other hand, he might end up doing things with this guy, and it'd just come out ANYWAY.*

Ah, well... I suppose since you're in our overall group it doesn't hurt to say it, but don't go blabbing this out to the general public. I'm what they call a NEXT back home. Super powers and all that.

So that means that those powers are common enough to have their own category where you come from, huh? I'm not totally sure I remember right, but I think they were kind of, you know, non-existant in my part of the world. Purely the stuff of comic books.

That being said... finding actual freakin' superheroes here is pretty damn cool.

I wouldn't exactly call them a dime a dozen where I come from, but they're common enough! And hey, trust me, even coming from a WORLD where we got heroes they're pretty sweet!

[He leans back and subconsciously reaches into his lab coat to fiddle with that strange grey cardkey he dropped out of the sky with. The one with the lambda symbol on it... he shakes his head and chuckles.]

I know there's probably more to it then that. There always is.

Well of course you do! Unless you're some rich guy, I don't see how you could fund YOURSELF.

Well, thankfully I just do the grunt work. Booster's the guy to talk to for the PR stuff.
