[This? This is a glowing white-haired boy in a ridiculous jumpsuit riding a roller coaster. He looks pretty apprehensive about it, what with only having just shown up in a strange place with no memories of anything.

But it still looks pretty fun! He thinks. Maybe. Which is why he's riding it in the first place!

Except for when it gets to the top of the first loop-de-loop. When the roller coaster starts coming down again, Danny doesn't. He remains in a seated position, upside-down in mid-air.]

Oh...is the coaster stuck?

[He looks down--or rather, up--at the rest of his body in mid-air.]

U-uhhh...

Somebody get me DOWN FROM HERE!!!

[Lawfer is suspiciously examining one of those carnival games with the darts and the balloons when the yell attracts his attention. It will take him a good minute to see what's going on.]

What sort of devilcraft is this?

[Aha! Vindicated! He was right; the rides were totally there to murder everyone. Somehow, the child was still hanging on... Perhaps they were simply toying with him. With a grunt, he runs towards the roller coaster and leaps the gate.]

[So in all of this Lawfer has not apparently made the cognitive association that the kid is floating upside-down, but he's too far away to see properly, anyway. After casting a desperate glance around, he'll simply grab ahold of the scaffolding and begin to climb.

This is what knights do. Kinda like firemen. Bets on if he's electrocuted first or falls to his death?]

...Try... not to look down.

Oh--Okay!

[But now that it's been said, he HAS to look down. Seeing how high up he is makes his eyes widen and suddenly, he can feel how very far away he is from the ground.

Which is when he stops floating and starts falling.]

[Ye gods. Lawfer, still climbing, stares speechlessly as Danny begins to fall; if he attempts to make a catch, surely the momentum would crush the both of them? Yet what other option could there possibly be? ...Lawfer makes his decision. As Danny falls, he'll leap 10 feet from the scaffolding in some sort of vain attempt to slow the child's velocity by catching him in midair.]

[Danny is flailing wildly in the air as he falls, as if he is somehow going to grasp onto something that will stop his fall. Getting a grip on Danny like this is difficult, but definitely possible.

Not like it changes the fact that they're still about to crack their heads open on the ground.

Thankfully, Danny finally manages to grasp onto that weightless feeling and halts in the air once more, mere feet from the ground.]

[Perhaps he manages a grip, perhaps he doesn't. All he knows is that he was rather sure the child was at least nearby his hands one moment, the next, he's smashed into the ground face-down. Ten feet was hardly lethal damage, to be fair, but it was still quite painful, nonetheless.

And yet, miraculously, he has sustained no true injuries... As soon as Lawfer recovers from his dazed state, he'll look about frantically for the boy.]

*The attendant, startles, stops the ride; Kotetsu doesn't even hesitate as he bounds up the ride via the rails. For an older guy, he's actually pretty spry. He finally reaches the point where Danny is.*

[And after a few seconds delay...it works. Gravity begins working again and pulls Danny to the ground as hard and fast as it possibly can.]
