Intellectual studies are best left to scholars, I believe. Though 'forensics' is a foreign term to me.

I think a doctor of forensic medicine works at a morgue with the police.

Kind of like an undertaker, but instead of just preparing the body, they study it to figure out what they can about how it was killed.
