As with the scars, there are other legacies of Yuri's lifetime that amnesia hasn't taken from him. These moods that come over him, for one. Inexplicable dark humors that almost paralyze him, though fortunately the regular rhythms of employment prevent him from isolating himself in his apartment. When he has a job to go to, he'll go to it. It's useful, familiar, comforting, but in the midst of his routine, he can't shake the feeling that something's wrong.
There is another thing about himself that he discovers on his own, though it might have been better if it had returned as a memory. During one of his darker periods, frustrated at his inability to remember that elusive truth that should be so obvious to him, his feelings of anger and helplessness surge, and a barrier within him suddenly breaks. The air in front of him is filled with blue flames.
He doesn't remember the fire at all. He has no idea how to control it, isn't even aware, for the first bewildering seconds, that he's the one who'd created the flames. He feels nothing but blind terror and panic and the heat on his face. Fortunately, he manages not to burn himself or burn the apartment down before he's able to make it stop. The flames go out when he takes control and wills them to. He sinks to the floor, breathing hard, drained. Is this where the scar on his face came from? No, that doesn't make sense. What happened to him?
He asks himself these questions, but then he gives up trying to remember. He doesn't want to yet. It might be dangerous to rush these memories, especially if his emotions have such a volatile side effect. He must learn to control it, first. He takes a deep breath, pulls himself together. He decides it would be best to keep his memory regain progressing at a minimum speed for the time being. For the sake of his own mental health, if nothing else.

Have any of you discovered that you possess unusual abilities you can't explain?
#2: [Video, some time later]
Hello. My name is Yuri Petrov, for those of you who don't know me. [He looks tired, but he smiles.] I happen to have an extra anemoi. [They pay him fairly well at his new job at the law firm, though they don't give him more than one or two anemoi a week.] if there are any of you here, especially children, who find yourself unable to gather the gems, I'd be happy to give you mine, and to contribute more in the future to those too young or otherwise unable to work or explore outside the city.
[Also Anonymous]
Maybe. You get some sorta power back?

[The truth is, he has an aversion to the whole idea. He just wants to carry on with his normal life--as normal as it can be, living as an amnesiac in an unfamiliar city. All he can remember is an ordinary life as a lawyer. This is something entirely different, and he doesn't like it. So it's with resignation that he agrees.]

[He can't quite define it, but he doesn't want to tell anyone about it, and there's also something about it that troubles him.]
