[Shirou had his phone turned on. He was about to make a post, but...

...Then a memory surged back into his mind before his mind's eye.

A memory of a man, resting on the porch. A twelve-year-old Shirou with him. Talking about superheroes and ideals. The main failed to reach his ideal...so his son promised to take it up for him.

Those were the last words his father would ever hear from his son.]

He... He died... He's...dead...

[But he forgot that his phone was on.]

...Well...yes. I did love my dad. I can't remember if I already told you or not, but he saved my life. There was a big fire in the neighborhood I lived in, and my previous family died in it. I probably would have died, too, if my dad hadn't found me.

Ah.. your adopted father? I suppose that's an entirely different thing. Isn't it strange that you remember him before your family though?

...I'm not sure I can. My memory of the fire is really vague. You'd think a traumatic event like that would make it really strong, but I really only remember what happened near the end.

Hm.. maybe you're unable to remember due to the trauma. I'm not certain.. surely there's a doctor here who might be able to help you?

Maybe. But I probably should wait until I've remembered more, shouldn't I?

If that's how you feel about it.. I don't think waiting will help much though.

Waiting for something to happen.. it seems as though it would just be a waste of time. If you want to remember something, you need to try every method you can to acquire it. I'm tired of waiting, so I'm going to hunt Anemoi non-stop until I remember everything!

I didn't mean that I was just going to sit around and wait. I'm going out to search for more anemoi, too. I meant waiting to see a doctor until I remember more.

If a doctor can provide you some better insight, don't you think it's a wasted resource to refrain from visiting with one?

But if I wait until I've earned more memories, wouldn't it help him out just by narrowing things down?
