I've recovered more of my memories, and they've given me much to think about. However, in addition to memories of my personal life, I've also recalled some more techniques for fighting.

Thinking about locations to practice, though, gave me an idea. What I, and I'm sure many of you, might benefit from is a specific place where we can practice the techniques that we've learned and remembered in our time here. A place like the park certainly has open space, but it isn't intended for practicing martial arts.

What I'm proposing is that a small group of us pool our money together, buy a building currently for sale, and convert it into a dojo or something similar with the specific purpose of training ourselves in the various styles of combat we know. Would anyone else here be interested in such a proposition?

Uh, hello? First of all, those of us destined for stardom can get some practice in, too. Secondly, if you guys really want to fight onstage there'll be a place for spectators! What were you gonna do, show off for nothing?

The purpose of this is not to find a place to show off. The purpose is to keep our skills honed for when we need them. If you want to put on a performance of the arts, there is nothing wrong with using the park.

Provided we either explore the wilderness in search of anemoi, or take on a job in the city, we receive a monthly stipend, so money normally should not be an issue. However, I don't see a problem with implementing a trial period.

Why are you going to buy a building? Would it not be cheaper to take one that has been abandoned and fix it up?

We would still have to go to city hall to request and receive ownership of the building, and in the end it would probably be more time-efficient to purchase or even rent one already on the market.

I do not see why that would be. There are so many of them I would think that the city council would be glad for us to take over some places and make them useful again. Otherwise they would just go to ruin and be a hazard to people.

That depends. A contractor may aspire for the land deed so he can tear down some of those abandoned buildings and build upon the land they once occupied. I'd also have to inspect any building before seeking the deed to make sure it shouldn't be condemned rather than refurbished.

I would imagine that a contractor would have come by long before any of us arrived to tear down any buildings. And you would have to inspect any buildings you choose to buy or rent anyways, would you not? Because taking information from the seller at face value without inspecting the goods is not very smart.

It's hard to say with contractors, but...yes, I see your point about inspection. I suppose it's something worth looking into, at the very least.

I am glad that you see my reasoning. And I will be willing to bet that you will have no problems getting an empty building for use.
