[ The first thing that comes up is a very short silence, as though the one on the other end of the feed is still giving a bit of thought to what he's trying to say. It doesn't last that long, though, and soon enough, a man's startlingly deep voice comes up, one with a slight monotonous edge to it, calm and composed, even somewhat apathetic if you pay enough attention. ]
Greetings. Sirocco, correct? That would be the city's name, as I understand. This device certainly is convenient... well. In either case, an introduction is in order, I suppose. My name is Kirei, and naturally, this is the only information I have to offer at the moment. If this city is one of a small population, it makes a certain amount of sense for everyone to be familiar with one another. Beyond being simply easier to manage such a thing when in a city with a small population, it makes things easier in case of an emergency. [ Then, another pause, and the feed suddenly switches to video, allowing one to see the face of a man who's speaking-- an adult man, probably in his mid to late thirties, wearing a dark blue coat that seems to be over something that is extremely difficult to make out, but if you look hard enough, resembles the clothes of a priest more than anything else. ]
It is generally easier for others to remember names when there is a face to accompany it. [ Then, he narrows his eyes very slightly, as though in thought, but doesn't express whatever is on his mind. ] I shall not keep you for long. This city has plenty of matters to attend to, I'm sure, more important than a new arrival. But if there is anything that those at the lab... hm, fail to mention for one reason or another, that one should know upon arrival, I would certainly not mind being informed. Better safe then sorry, as they say.

[ So! After settling in, what is the first thing Kirei does? ~EXPLORE~! In other words, Kirei would be out and about today, taking a silent walk around the city, but the freaking tall guy in a coat and priest's clothes is bound to catch a certain amount of attention anyway, so you may find yourself bumping into him or just noticing him.
Alternatively, anyone coming into the restaurant on the first floor of Ermis will notice at, at some point during the day, it's completley empty- Kirei chooses his times well!- save for the guy in question who's sitting somewhere and eating amazingly huge amounts of boiling hot spicy foods. Look, this prompt was necessary, okay. ]

Uh...
[Even over the network, Shirou can feel the impressive (and somewhat intimidating) aura of this man.]
Well, uh, so far, what do you know?
anyway yes!! there's an eyebrow raise at that. ]
Well, let's see. I have been informed at the laboratory on the situation in this city in detail, and that everyone who arrives here has what happened to myself happen to them as well. It seems we "newcomers" are now government employees. And this includes young men like yourself, I see. I am aware of the manner in which the memories are returned. Simply put, I am aware of what you can call "the basics".

What a blunt young woman. Would that be all you wish to say?

Well, what else did you want me to say? My name? Then you should ask for it. Forgiveness from the Lord? I'm working to remember just how exactly to do that.

The guys at the lab were pretty quick to clam up when I asked anything too. I had to scale an impenetrable wall of you'll-see-in-time's and that's-classified's and you-wouldn't-understand's. Man, it bugs the hell out of me when they do that! How would they KNOW if we wouldn't get it or not if they don't tell us everything?!
So anyway, I asked here just like you. From what I understand we have a lot of the necessities taken care of while we're groping around tryin' to remember something, which is actually pretty cool. Also I'm still fuzzy on how these anemoi crystal things work but they gain your memory back faster than just waiting around. Best place to find those are outside of town in the ruins I hear... but then you have to deal with those weird blue things and other freaks.

Indeed. They do not think much of us, do they? We are not newborn children, even without our memories. It is strange, but obvious at first glance.
It seems you are a recent arrival as well... that aside, you are familiar, then, with the creatures outside of town?

Not really, all I've got is hearsay. I have to admit I AM a little curious, but I sort of forgot my plus-two vorpal sword at home. I'd have to figure out how to fight with something before I even went out there. That's kind of a catch-22, isn't it? You need a weapon to go out there, to get the crystals that get back your memory, so you can remember how to use the weapon in the first place!

[ Why does that name sound so familiar? Didn't that have to do with---!! ]
You're that jerk!!
[ The most descriptive way to describe him........ ]
video; how could you!!
he barely reacts beyond a vaguely questioning look ]
Have we met? That is, after all, quite something to accuse a stranger of. Where are your manners, hm, miss?
[ Playing innocent? Kind of. He figures that she's just a person he knew before and who now regained enough memory to remember him, so... technically, he should be calming her down and trying to figure things out. But instead he finds that his first instinct to seeing her pissed off is... to want to piss her off further and make fun of her. Huh. And he finds himself not feeling any remorse for this either, like it's a totally natural thing for him to do... ]
video; kind of a memory lapse thing!!
[ At least he's stunned her into behaving properly. ]
S-Sorry, this is just really weird. You wouldn't happen to know a man with blue hair, do you?
video; oh that's okay then!!
video; this is a memory loss game so it makes sense okay

Wow, really like it hot, donchya?
[action]
Is it really so hot? [ legit question here. the answer to which is: yes, it is. although he barely seems to care anyway... ]

Hey, you! Are you a member of the Church?
action
It's a possibility. If I was, I would be likely to find your choice of clothes more than a little indecent and would be lecturing you right about now. Is it really a good idea to seek out such people when dressed like that, young lady?
action
My clothes are perfectly fine! I won't allow you to speak to me in such way, human!
