Summary:
- The party found a cult of goblins feeding sacrifices to an Ao Oni.
- They fought off the goblins and acquired the orb of Calem-Sur, which they had.
- John unleashed some kind of super powerful wind magic when his life was in peril.
- Dave Strider arrived and tried to take the orb from them, but failed.
- After Dave was gone, they found a key to a large metal door they had passed earlier but had been unable to open.

Behind the large metal door was what had clearly once been a store room for some ancient kingdom. There was piles and piles of bits of metal that had once been suits of armor and weapons but were now rusted beyond use. There's one thing left that seemed intact: A staff of some strange metal. It had a blue green translucent crystal attached to the head and a button about half way down the length.

There was also a second door. This one could be unlocked from the inside, and led back up to the surface.
