[It happens in the middle of a nice, sunny day. Everyone is relaxing, everyone is enjoying themselves. Not Danny, though. Because while he was in his room alone, he remembered a certain something and miraculously, mysteriously transformed into something else. And the second he fully registers the implications of this, he bursts out of his room and runs down the staircase, feeling his heart beating heavy in his chest--beating!

He tears out of the apartments and outside, into the nice weather, and lets loose an unholy scream that can be heard through the phone broadcasts, as well as throughout the entire Ermis Suites and beyond.]

My daughter is here now. Even if she doesn't remember me, it makes me happy to know that she's here and that I can spend time with her. I really want to hurry up and remember more of the happy times we have spent together.

I also remembered my husband's name. He was such a nice person, always paying attention to the small details for me. I'm really lucky to have him at my side, and I am sure that soon I will remember more. Kiritsugu always worried a lot for me, even when he was such a busy man for what I know!

[Somewhat near the lab is a very confused looking girl! She was told to go to the lab, but with that dragon... snake... thing there, it's kind of difficult.]

What should I do...? Nobody said anything about this.

[Shampoo pops up from the bottom of the camera with a wide smile stuck on her face. It's a bit of a surprise to see her with make-up on and in a Mandarin Gown instead of her normal martial art outfit but it's no surprise when you see the background. Behind her, the small building with the sign Cat Cafe has a banner with the words GRAND OPENING and balloons in front.

She closes her fan with a flick of her wrist and points directly at the camera.]

Nǐ hǎo ma? Are you hungry for the best noodle dishes? Fried rice with shrimp? Wonton soup or chicken feet? Szechuan mapo tofu or Hong Kong style congee?

Then lái-lái, lái-lái! Come in to Cat Cafe! Come in! Our doors are open! Where the chef and workers are pretty to look at and food tastes delicious. Today's grand opening so all prices are half off!

[It's a bit mind-boggling to see how many people came and stop by to the small building. The lines are thankfully short but tables are packed, forcing some groups of people to sit with strangers they might not know.

The 17 year old girl is running around taking orders and serving food but the majority of the time, she's in the back kitchen putting on a small cooking show. With fire and throwing knives! Best duck when one of them comes flying a bit too close to your personal space.]

Hey guys!

I finally remembered something! Check this out.

[He reaches into... somewhere, and pulls out what looks like a strangely shaped can of shaving cream. Then he puts it away gain. A card seems to be involved somehow, but it's difficult to tell. He pulls out a few more random objects, a hat, a box of gushers, etc. And then puts them all back.]

Pretty cool, huh? I can't believe I forgot that I had one of these.

And look! I have a strife specibus too!

[He pulls out a hammer. It looks ridiculous. But he seems to like it...]

Attention, fellow exiles!

It recently came to my attention that there are some quite serviceable training facilities available to those who seek it out. Well done, Ky.

However! Unless I miss my guess, there are some among us who wish to refine skills a bit beyond casual sparring matches. Those with incredible powers, who risk hurting those around them or themselves if they practice carelessly.

It is to these people whom I offer my services as a trainer and sparring partner. Before I came here I was a Prinny Instructor, so I have experience in training, and I seem to possess enough skill and power to at least survive against most opponents.

If the ordeal with the "oni" taught us anything, it is that we must all be prepared. Seek me out, if you think you stand to benefit from it.

[action 1: daytime, Justice League Sirocco HQ]

[Booster's down at JLS HQ, surveying the damage done by the oni and everyone's favorite intrepid time travelers. Other than the new improvised skylight, the damage is thankfully mostly superficial, and the building's not really that much worse off than it was when Booster first acquired the place. Overall, definitely salvageable.

Booster stares at the hole in the roof for a while before he starts... laughing?]

Man! I am so stupid! I honestly thought we could manage to stay in the black this month! What a joke, right?

[He bends over and sets one of the surviving chairs upright, solely so he can collapse into it dramatically.]

Well, gotta face the music sometime. Our government budget's just not big enough to make ends meet on its own. But don't worry about it, they don't call me the Corporate Crusader for nothing! I'll get this sorted out, no problem.

[It's almost like the past few weeks never happened.]

[As always, Supernova can be spotted patrolling the night skies. He's understandably more distracted than usual, often spending a long time standing around on a single rooftop before moving on. It makes it pretty damn easy to track him down for a conversation, if anyone wants one after everything that's happened recently.]

[Months in the future, but not many...

It all went wrong six months ago, when Hiroshi tried to banish the oni. It didn't work as expected. In fact it did the exact opposite. The rod only effected maybe one person in ten, but that was more than enough. Each effected person had exploded, revealing a fully formed, blue, mindless killing machine. Within a week, half the city was dead or worse, the rest running for their lives. Now Sirocco is in burning ruins, with oni wandering the streets, chasing and killing anyone they come across.

The last survivors are holed up in the laboratory at the heart of the city. The oni haven't managed to find a way in quite yet, but it's only a matter of time.

Dave abruptly stands up from where he had been sitting in the corner, getting some rest.]

That's it. I give. This is a lost cause.

[ooc: Just as described, this is in the future. However, it's not the only future. This is a splinter timeline, and none of the events leading up to this are actually going to happen after the Ao Oni plot is resolved. To that end, when tagging this feel free to make up various horrible or heroic things that have happened over the last few months. The vast majority of the game's cast are probably dead or turned to Oni by this point, so if you don't tag here, it's likely you're dead.

Again, these events will not come to pass and have no effect on the game outside of this post beyond what Future Dave and Supernova remember.]

If you happen to be around the town to see her, then you might find Irisviel driving at high speed, riding the curves like a boss in ways that surely will cause someone to have a heart attack. She is so good at this that she's avoiding any BIG collisions, though she's hitting some parts of the car while she drives.

*At some point in time, a new device showed up in the Justice League building. It seems primarily designed for suiting up, and certainly when you saw it the first time, there was some sort of armor set up in it. But it's not there NOW, and the reason for this ends up being pretty obvious with the next video call...*

*...which includes somebody in said armor. Who is this stranged, masked fell -- oh, apparently it's Kotetsu, judging by the fact he just flipped the helm up. Mystery solved. The background behind him shows a broken set of doors, a perimeter of police tape located in a large radius around the entrance, some huddled, frightened looking people, and evidence of SOMETHING moving every so often through the doors, although it's too dark to make out anything properly. Tiger's still glowing faintly blue.*

Wild Tiger here! Jesus Christ, have you SEEN these things? They've gotta be the ugliest bastards I ever seen in my life! I could clobber them away from us easy enough, but they just kept coming! Good thing I had my Hundred Power considering some jackass locked the door on us while we were in there evacuating people! This is ridiculous!

[It's a pretty nice day out today in Sirocco. Pretty windy day, too, judging by how tousled Booster's hair is. He looks surprisingly unbothered by it for a guy as usually concerned about his looks as he is. In fact, he actually looks kind of pleased.]

Hey, everybody! I found a little something special from home on my nightstand this morning. It-- here, I'll show you what it does. If you're scared of heights, you might want to look away for a minute.

[He flips the phone around so the camera's facing down, showing a nice bird's-eye view of Sirocco before turning it back to face him. Well, that explains the state his hair is in.]

Looks pretty peaceful from up here, huh? Wish it really were like that, it'd make my job a whole lot easier.
